The process
First, we like to set up a time to talk on the phone about what you have in mind. That usually takes about 10-15 minutes. If both of us would like to move forward, we will schedule a time for us to meet at the location of the project.
We offer free onsite consultations
At the site location, we will listen to your vision, take measurements, discuss design details - what you love & what you hate, provide an estimated timeline and cost. If we both still want to move forward, I will start working on a more detailed bid.
The fee for a more detailed bid is $250 ($300 for friends and family)
For a more detailed bid, I will use the measurements of the space and all of the information gathered from our site meeting to work up a formal detailed estimate that will include a drawn out floor plan on graph paper, itemized pricing, payment schedule, copy of our contract, and a more exact time frame. This can take from a few days up to 2 weeks.
Then we will set up a meeting where we will present the bid to you and give you copies of everything prepared. You are not required to accept the bid.
When/if you do decide to accept the bid, we will move forward with the paperwork first. You will need to accept and sign the estimate, contract, and pay the first installment listed on your estimate in order to begin your project.
Once that has been completed, we will contact you to get you put on our schedule and we will begin working on your project!
